Want to Experience The Best Burger in London, W11? Meet Honest Burger Portobello Road.
The service I’ve always been provided from walking through their doors at Honest Burgers has been nothing but exemplary! The waiters and waitresses wear Honest Burgers heart on their sleeves.
I wanted to know whether this a conscious effort from Tom and Phil that everyone knows the Honest Burgers story or is it that every member of their staff have fallen in love with the brand and wants to share it?
I wanted to know whether Tom and Phil are really best mates and did it take guts to create Honest Burgers? I wanted to know if there was a learning curve and if they’re still cycling to Marylebone to collect Meat? Are they bike enthusiasts and spread sheet nuts!? What are the secrets of the menu and why is the food I so delicious and have their original intentions ever changed? What does the future hold for Honest Burgers?
Tom and Phil actually met in 2010 whilst working at a Brighton restaurant. Soon after, they bought a small marquee and decided to go it alone serving burgers at festivals and events. After meeting Dorian, Tom moved to Brixton in 2011 and within a few months they’d signed a lease on a tiny unit in Brixton Village.
With a simple, quality-focused menu the company has not deviated from its original approach which is to do one thing, and do it well.
