The Contemporary London’ is an Modern Art Gallery on Ladbroke Grove Dedicated to Promoting and Exhibiting an Exciting Selection of Emerging Artists.
The gallery was established in 2011 as a pop up gallery. In order to facilitate a more ambitious and regular exhibition programme, Michelle looked to set up a permanent exhibition space, which they did in December 2014.
Based on their experience of being a pop up gallery for a number of years they were very aware of the limited options for professional, affordable dedicated exhibition spaces, especially in West London, they branded the gallery space separately as Space W10. As such Space W10 offers the best of both worlds, as they are able to showcase the artists and exhibitions throughout the year.
They are also able to collaborate with independent artists and galleries.
The gallery represents a select group of contemporary artists through exhibitions, art fairs such as London Art Fair and Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, Consultancy, publishing limited edition prints and private sales.
The gallery is a 1,200sqft, light and airy space located in North Kensington in close proximity to the bustling and fashionable enclaves of Portobello Road, Portobello Wharf, Kensal Rise and Ladbroke Grove.
Currently at the time of recording this podcast, The Vasillis Avramidis exhibition runs until December 12th with further shows running over in to the new year and beyond. Michelle has huge experience and immensely passionate about art working with renowned Artists including partnering with ‘Own Art’, the sole purpose being, to make Art affordable to the masses and I love it!!
